The set was a gift and my husband I are delighted. The spices are ready to use in an instant - no grinding or mixing needed. We've used maple java on several type of fish filets. Every time the result was 'Yumm!'. I love all chicken pieces but my chicken thighs are the favorite at the moment. I rubbed fennel pepper under the skin and also on top. It was delicious - just the right amount of fennel and spiciness.
The set is the perfect addition to my herb cabinet.

The MinkDog Bespoke Blend Set definitely deserves 5 stars! I love all three spice blends, and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite. The hampton boil has greatly enhanced my crab cakes and seafood dishes, but I found it equally delicious on roasted potatoes. The maple java makes an excellent rub, but using it in the vegan carrot and apple soup recipe provided on the website was really a delightful surprise. I find myself reaching for the fennel pepper constantly, using it the way I used to use salt and pepper. Taken together, these three versatile spice blends can elevate all of your favorite recipes. I highly recommend them!
So far we have only used the Mocha Java in Venison Stew and it was incredible! Excited to cook up some seafood with the Hampton Boil and looking for ideas for the Fennel Pepper.
